• NEW FORMULA – Our goal with Speedpaint was to create the first true single-coat acrylic plastic paint solution. To achieve this, this set of acrylic paints needed to offer superior coverage, vibrant saturation and a smooth, rustproof finish. By using an advanced resin, we were able to achieve the superior characteristics of Speedpaint while also making the paint more durable.
• DRYING TIME – FLEXIBLE AND STRONG – Speedpaint is designed for painters who want to quickly paint miniatures from the Warhammer 40k or Dungeons & Dragons Starter Sets. However, because of its intense pigmentation, when first applied, Speedpaint is flexible. Like a wash, this means a painter has time to mix the colors, ensure the paint settles and doesn’t clump, and quickly correct mistakes.
• FULL COLOUR RANGE – 90 NEW COLOURS – Since the release of Army Painter Speed Paint, customers have been asking us to add more and we have decided to do just that by expanding the range from 24 to 90 acrylic paints. This has required the development of 5 new pigment bases to cover a more complete colour range.
• INDUSTRY FIRST – SPEEDPAINT METALLIC IN ONE COAT – Speedpaint Metallics feature a combination of metal flakes and heavy pigments for a one-step basecoat and wash. Apply Speedpaint Metallic over a light basecoat (e.g. matt white primer), then watch the metal flakes adhere to the miniature while the darker pigments blend in the recesses for instant contrast.
