A major disaster has forever changed the face of the Earth. Over a few weeks, 99% of humanity was wiped out. . .Here, in the Great River, a special green alga – the imunophyceae – was discovered. It has allowed a new species to thrive, protected deep in the river, and gave them powers of Precognition. They are the Ymunes, genuinely caring beings who can only fathom a future with the last surviving Humans.
