This wooden board has a deep chocolate color, and the chessmen in particular are distinctive and their quality caught our eye immediately. They have been created with care and attention to carved detail usually reserved for bigger and more expensive sets. The felt bottomed chessmen are made of acacia and boxwood and look lovely on display. The design that has gone into these chess pieces packs a punch that belies the sets compact size. The finish on these hand polished pieces will become even more lustrous over time with handling.
